The building was inaugurated on New Year’s Eve 1916, and it became very popular among residents.
The Colon Market in Valencia covers a large linear space divided into three bays with metal trusses, and it has two prominent masonry facades that resemble triumphal arches with exquisitely crafted ornamentation and colors.
Nowadays, the building is a modern and convenient atmosphere that combines today’s trends with historical Modernism. In 2003 was awarded with the “EUROPA NOSTRA AWARD 2003″.
